LAHELA’s Rates for Private Deep Sea Fishing Charters on Kauai

Lahela Sportfishing has the only U.S. Coast Guard Certified Sport fishing game boat on Kaua’i that can legally carry more then 6 passengers; up to 10 passengers on private offshore fishing charters. And up to 14 passengers on private whale watching and sightseeing charters.

2-Hour Charters

Exclusive Private (1 to 6 passengers) – $510

4-Hour Charters

Exclusive Private (1 to 6 passengers) – $1000

(7 to 10 passengers) – $200 per passenger added to the $1000 rate

Exclusive Private Whale Watching & Fishing Combo (December-April)       

(1 to 6 passengers) – $1000

( 7 to 10 passengers) – $200 per passenger added to the $1000 rate

6-Hour Charters

Exclusive Private (1 to 6 passengers) – $1500

(7 to 10 passengers) – $200 per passenger added to the $1500 rate

8, 10 & 12 Hour Charters

Exclusive Private 8, 10 or 12 Hour Charter (1 to 6 passengers) – Call if you need help booking these trips or you can book online through our booking calendar.

Examples 

Book a 4hr at 6am and a 4hr 11am for an 8hr private charter

Book a 4hr at 6am and 6hr at 11am for a 10hr private charter

Whale Watching (December-April) & Sightseeing (Year Round)

2-Hour Exclusive Private Whale Watching or Sightseeing (1 to 6 passengers) – $510

3-Hour Exclusive Private Whale Watching or Sightseeing (1 to 6 passengers) – $765

4-Hour Exclusive Private Sightseeing (1 to 6 passengers) – $1000

For more than 6 passengers, $100 per person after 6 up to 14 passengers.  Thank you

We are open and available to run, book now. Customer's keep their catch. ( Please see question 12 on our Faq's page to understand your option's )

Additional Charter Info 

  •  Prices do not include taxes, harbor fee, cc fee, online booking fee or gratuities for crew members
  • Cancellation policy is 14 days prior to your scheduled charter date 
  • No saltwater fishing license required
  • All your tackle and expert instruction is provided
  • A light lunch (sandwich & chips) or a deluxe catered lunch can be arranged for an additional charge upon request on our private fishing charters that are 6 hours or longer.
  • Minimum age requirement for private charters is 7 yrs.
  • Minimum age requirement for shared offshore fishing charters is 7 yrs.
  • Bottom Fishing (deep sea) minimum age requirement is 7 yrs.
  • Kids Reef fishing trips minimum age is 5 yrs.
  • Kids Light tackle trolling trips minimum age is 5 yrs.
  • Whale Watching minimum age is 3 yrs.
  • Not recommended for pregnant women, anyone with a history of health, heart, back problems, or the disabled, including anyone who has had any resent surgeries.
